Ruhil Care is a registered provider of the NDIS. Payments can be claimed directly from your plan, if you are agency managed or invoice can be sent to you/your plan manager as per your plan. Your support coordinators can explain the process to you. You can, thus, be aware of the terms and conditions and make an informed decision on the services and facilities you choose. We can also help you to prepare for your plan review that aligns with your needs and goals.

What does an NDIS provider do?

An NDIS registered provider’s primary purpose is to secure access, facilitate, and support for disabled persons to live in a less challenging environment. They help participants navigate their NDIS plans and organisational services to help individuals grow while taking care of their needs.

NDIS Pricing & Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP)

The pricing we charge
Ruhil Care Pty Ltd will charge each support item according to the current NDIS Price Guide at the time of the signing of your Service Agreement. This may include provider travel, cancellations, establishment fees and reports where applicable.The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) update their Price Guide on 1 July each year (and occasionally during the year). When the NDIS Price Guide changes, your schedule of support will be updated with the new price as per the updated Price Guide.

TTP pricing
From 1 July 2019, the NDIA introduced the Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP) which is a conditional loading to assist service providers in transitioning to working under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

TTP is set at 7.5% of the support cost and will be reduced by 1.5% each year.

Ruhil Care is fully compliant with the NDIS Eligibility Terms to use TTP pricing where applicable.

As of 1 July 2019, Ruhil Care commenced applying TTP pricing for all applicable services including community participation, daily activities and centred-based activities.

Please inform your LAC or NDIS Planner that your provider Ruhil Care charges TTP pricing to ensure your NDIS plan is accordingly budgeted with sufficient funding

FAQ

The NDIS primarily supports the essential kinds of assistance that a disabled person requires for overcoming challenges in their daily living conditions. However, it does not provide all the support meant for disabled persons. The Australian Government promotes other schemes and policies to deliver aid in varying ways.

The NDIS does not stretch its support towards the services directed through the health system. Many of them still need to be funded directly by the health system or hospitals. For example, the diagnosis and treatment performed by a doctor are not covered under the NDIS. It would be best to discuss with your support coordinator the details of each plan and what it covers so you can make informed decisions.

The Disability Support Pension is entirely separate from the NDIS scheme and other pensions and income supports. If you are eligible for one, it does not mean you cannot apply for others. Even if you gain funding from NDIS, your budget from other schemes will not be affected as they are not connected. This also means that qualifying for NDIS does not guarantee your eligibility for other pensions and payment support.

There are Local Area Coordinators (LACs) in most regions who can help you navigate the process of NDIS and help you decide what’s best. LACs can also help you pick a plan that provides a support coordinator who can offer further assistance. LACs can also help you recognise the support scheme that suits your needs best, among all available, not just focusing on NDIS.

For patients under the age of 7, please refer to a local early childhood partner. These partners can help identify the aid that can positively impact younger children in the long run and assist the family in providing the right kind of support during the child’s growth.
